The short version
This blog has no accounts, no ads and no paid content yet. We do not sell or share personal data. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which posts are read, and only with cookies where you allow them.
Analytics
When it is switched on, Google Analytics 4 tells us things like how many people visited, which pages they read,
which country and type of device they used, and how they found the blog. It does not tell us who you are.
Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_*.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland see these cookies switched off until they click Accept. Everyone can accept or decline in the banner, and change the choice later with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. If you decline, Google Analytics may still receive basic, cookie-free signals (such as a page view without an identifier), which Google uses for aggregate modelling.
Google processes this data as described in its own policy: policies.google.com/privacy. You can also block Google Analytics on every site with Google's opt-out browser add-on.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Your settings in this browser
The site remembers your light or dark theme and your cookie choice in your browser's local storage. Nothing of this is sent to us.
